Story
“There but for the grace of God go I.”
As I walk along this path we call life, occasionally glancing back, it’s amazing to see the hundreds of forks and turnings that could have led to a completely different life today.
Sometimes, however, fellow travellers stray down the wrong track and end up at what they believe is a dead end. With no hope. No future.
Thank you for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.
I have been given the opportunity to run the 2026 London Marathon for Changing Tunes.
Changing Tunes is a charity that use the power of music to help people lead crime-free lives that are meaningful and creative. They deliver music-making programmes in Alternative Provision Schools, Secure Children’s Homes, Young Offender Institutions, Prisons and Post-Release. They also run a record label that supports the career development of talented music artists who have been in prison, or who are on the edges of the system.
Changing Tunes envisage a future where every at-risk youth, person in prison, and every individual leaving prison has access to life-enhancing music-making opportunities.
They envisage a future where the criminal justice system is genuinely rehabilitative, fostering positive transformation and redemption for all. They dream of a society where vulnerable young people are supported to unleash their full potential.
