Story
Paul Sartori Hospice Care provides compassionate hospice-at-home support across Pembrokeshire, helping people spend precious time where they feel safest — at home, with those they love.
Their nurses, carers and volunteers offer practical help, emotional support and dignity — not just for patients, but for families walking alongside them. From hands-on care and respite support to equipment loans and bereavement services, they make an immeasurable difference every single day.
They were wonderful when our Dad needed 3 years of additional care - making his life better but also allowing our Mum to have a bit of time for herself which is so important when caring for someone full time.
They are a small but incredibly important local charity who desperately need more funds to look after as many people as possible.
They are the only remaining hospice for the whole of Pembrokeshire - all the others have shut making them so important for the community.
Richard and Caroline are fundraising by walking 20 miles with Richard carrying a 25kg backpack. Our Dad loved walking and was a keen mountaineer so we thought this would be a good way on honoring his legacy.
Every mile walked is a way of saying thank you, raising awareness, and helping ensure that others receive the same kindness, comfort and dignity.
