Story
I'm back again for another annual daft challenge in the name of charity.
This year on Monday the 21st of December, I'm in the gym for 24 hours on the lead up to Christmas, aiming for 100 rounds of 5 exercises. Each round is 10 reps of everything plus 1km on the static bike, which adds up to:
• 1,000 Push Ups
• 1,000 Pull Ups
• 1,000 DB Thrusters (7.5kg)
• 1,000 Hanging Knee Raise
• 100km on the Bike
I'll be putting in £1 of my own for every round I complete. If you'd like to support me, or just help keep me going when I'm flagging at 4am, every bit counts and I'd be really grateful.
Why Crisis at Christmas? Family has been a huge part of getting me through the harder moments in my life. Whatever Christmas means to you, at its heart it's about people coming together, somewhere warm to be and a good meal on the table. Not everyone gets that. Crisis makes sure people experiencing homelessness have warmth, hot food and proper support over the festive period.
So this is me putting some of my energy towards people who need it more than I do right now.
Thanks for any support, and for putting up with my annual "sponsor me" post.
Johnny
