Johnny's 100 Mile Bike Ride for St Gilberts Primary School

👋🏼 As a proud parent at St Gilbert's Primary School, I'm undertaking a 100-mile bike ride challenge to support the school PTA, helping to raise essential funds for school trips and extra-curricular activities.
I've seen firsthand how educational trips spark curiosity and enrich the learning experience for our children, but unfortunately, budget constraints often limit this. Every child deserves the chance to learn beyond the classroom, which is why I'm dedicating my ride to contribute towards more school trips for St Gilbert's pupils.
These trips aren't just fun days out – they're powerful learning experiences that bring lessons to life, build confidence and create memories that last a lifetime. Your support will directly help children discover new places, ideas and possibilities.
Friday 27th June, I'll be cycling 100 miles in one day, pushing my limits to make a difference for our school community. The route will take me through the surrounding countryside of Stamford, representing approximately 8 hours in the saddle - a significant challenge for an amateur!
I'm aiming to raise £1,000 towards more school trips for St Gilbert's pupils. Your donations will go directly to:
- Transport costs
- Entrance fees
- Educational materials
- Ensuring every child can participate regardless of financial circumstances.
Your support, no matter the amount, will make a real difference to the children at St Gilbert's:
Please donate what you can and share this page with friends, family and colleagues. Together, we can open up a world of learning opportunities for our children.
Thank you for supporting St Gilbert's Primary School. I'll keep you updated on my training progress and look forward to sharing stories from the big ride!
