Story

On the 6th April 2024 John Peet (Stonehouse Site Manager,) and his friends are taking on the Yorkshire 3 peaks for Autism Angels and Dreams Come True.

Autism Angels are a charity that Stonehouse have supported through previous events with John's son Noah in mind. They are a Yorkshire based charity which has been operating in the community for over 11 years. They provide a wide range of therapeutic services to families with children with additional needs including but not limited to, Autism, ADHD, ADD, PDA & sensory processing.

At Autism Angels supporting mental health and wellbeing is at the heart of everything they do whilst building a strong community around their families so they can thrive and live their best lives.

Dreams Come True is a national Children's Charity who exists to deliver dreams to children who have it tough. They believe every child has the right to dream, no matter who they are or where they live. Dreams are currently working hard to deliver a personalised dream for John’s Son Noah, and he would like to support them in return.

John said:

"We are a group of friends mostly in the building industry that meet up quite regularly down our local public house and chat about our week at work and life in general.

I have spoken to them many times about how much of a family we are at Stonehouse, and the volume of charity fundraising they do as a small team. They have been generous enough to choose charities with Noah in mind and I now want to give back, so I will be taking on the Yorkshire 3 peaks along with my mates on the 6th of April 2024.

Collectively we have Floor Layers, Decorators, Electricians and myself Site Manager (ex-Bricklayer) who are all walking to support disadvantaged children which means a lot to us all.

We hope to build up to the actual 3 peaks (The Big One!) at a later date - watch this space."

Please support John & his friends in their challenge, and in turn support Noah.

Thank you 😊

Please note as we would like to split the fundraising between our charities you will need to select one to support with your donation. All donations will make a huge difference, so thank you.
