Through the LSHTM's alumni community I accepted the opportunity to support this good cause by running the London Landmark Half Marathon 2024.
The LSHTM has around 3,500 staff conducting research in over 100 countries, and around 4,700 students — all working with a collective purpose to improve health worldwide.
One of the aspects I enjoyed most during my Master Public Health studies among others, is the international character of LSHTM. The ethnic diversity with students coming from across all parts of the world's economic income groups, made for me the course discussions specifically of high value.
To ensure that future students from a diverse range of personal and professional progression routes can continue to collaborate together, there will be money needed for scholarships.
This broad variety of mixed academic backgrounds, contributes consistently to be the strong voice in global health and high-quality research.
