As a group of four very proud fathers this charity is a cause very close to our hearts, and one that we are both keen and excited to support.

As most of you know we all played rugby together and have continued a keen interest in sport and exercise, albeit with (a lot) more creaking and cracking of beaten up bodies for some of us! This event comprises of a 30 mile bike ride, a 10 mile hike and a 2 mile kayak at a competitive pace which will be true test of endurance for us all.

In summary Action Medical Research is the leading UK-wide charity saving and changing children’s lives through medical research. For 65 years we’ve helped pioneer ways to prevent disease and develop treatments benefiting millions of people. Our research has helped to beat polio in the UK, develop ultrasound, fight meningitis and prevent stillbirths. But we urgently need to develop more new treatments and cures for sick babies and children and we can’t do it without you.
