Story

The day before my 42nd Birthday I am going to drag my broken, dodgy knees around a hilly Saltash in memory of Kelly Luscombe. Kelly was a colleague and friend who took her own life in February this year. She was fiercely competitive and a cracking sports person. I am not sure she was that keen on just running but I am hoping her competitive spirit will help push me around under the 2hr mark like I did in my 20s...She'd probably rather I did some sort of cricket marathon but here we are...

After having her gorgeous little boy nearly four years ago, Kelly spent some time in a place called 'Jasmine's Lodge' where she and Josh were looked after incredibly well and Kelly was helped through some really hard times. Before her death Kelly had reached out to Jasmine's Lodge to try and do some fundraising for them so I thought it fitting to do something for them in her memory.
