Story
Earlier this year, in January, some of my closest friends, Matt and Nicki, lost their beautiful daughter Issy to a brain tumour. She was just 13 years old.
Issy was full of life, warmth, and kindness. The kind of child who leaves a lasting impression on everyone she meets. No family should have to go through something like this, and no child should have their future taken away so soon.
As a parent, it’s impossible not to feel this deeply. And even if you’re not, I think we can all relate to the idea of wanting more time, more moments, more memories with the people we love.
That’s why a group of us are coming together to try and make a small difference.
In September, we’ll be taking on the Ultra Challenge, walking 100km across the South Downs in under 24 hours to raise funds for The Brain Tumour Charity, supporting vital research and helping other families facing the same devastating reality.
We know times are tough, and there’s a lot of demand on everyone right now. But if you’re able to contribute, whether as an individual or as a business, it would genuinely mean a great deal. Every donation, no matter the size, helps move research forward and brings hope to families who desperately need it.
Thank you for taking the time to read this.
