Story
We are Jess and Jon, we’re running the London Marathon to raise vital funds for the Lily Foundation. This amazing charity is dedicated to fighting mitochondrial disease - a cause that’s extremely close to our hearts.
Jess’s son Felix, was tragically diagnosed with Leigh’s Syndrome at just six months old. Felix lives with this extremely rare mitochondrial condition that affects his every day life. It’s a debilitating, life limiting disease of which there is currently no cure.
Every donation to the Lily Foundation brings us closer to better treatments, more research and hope for a brighter future. The charity have already been a huge comfort to the family, providing invaluable help and continued support.
Jess and Jon (Honorary Uncle) have been friends for over 20 years. By running 26.2 miles, we want to show our love and support for Felix, and help to make a difference.
Please stand with us to fight mito and find hope.
Thank you so much for your support! xXx
