Run Cheltenham 2025
Campaign by Sue Ryder (RCN 1052076)
#TeamSueRyder are back at Run Cheltenham in 2025 running the Half Marathon, 10K and Community Mile to support people through dying and grief.

Story

A number of teachers, staff and families (38 in total) from Balcarras School are raising money for Sue Ryder. A local charity who helped our friend Kev Clancy with his battle with Cancer. Kev was a popular teacher at Balcarras and did a number of fund raising runs himself.

A number of us are running the half marathon in Cheltenham for this cause, ranging from sub 1.20 half marathon runners, through slow veterans of many miles, and some people who havent put on their trainers for several years and some first timers.

The staff are (in no particular speed order); Luke Perry, Sue Clemow, Jamie Weller, Simon Critchley, Jon Pearce, Graham Best, Mark Constance, Anna Clancy, Darren Leatherbarrow, Paul Godfrey, Mark Harvey, Alex Boughton, Andrew Harding, Clare Hearing, Sian Renton, Ella Langford (Whiteland), Jack Goddard, Joe Wilgoss, Sam Bury-Brunsdon, Cheryl Crowley, Will Rothwell, Matt Howell, Jo Taylor, Sarah Leach, Ros Waters, Alison Bird, Rachel Parsons, Jen Swanepoel, Heather Harris, Hannah Went, Sam McLaughlin, Adrienne Niblett, David Sharkey, Emma Titmus, Lou McRitchie, Amy Searle, Dan Armstrong, Andy Cadogan and James Masters.

Please help us support this worthy cause.

Sue Ryder is here to make sure everyone approaching the end of their life or living with grief can access the support they need. There is no one size fits all when it comes to how we cope and the help we need, but with Sue Ryder's support, no one has to face dying or grief alone. They are there when it matters.
