This page is dedicated to the memory of Jon Rubidge who passed away on September 24th 2024. Jon's cancer journey began in 2018 when he was diagnosed with cancer of the throat. After a gruelling treatment programme Jon received the all clear but his struggles continued with ill-health. During the summer of 2023 Jon received the devasting news that his throat cancer had returned, spreading to his lungs and other parts of his body. Initially given a prognosis of just 9-12 months Jon approached his remaining time with good humour and bravery and we are grateful that we enjoyed more time than initially predicted with him.

Jon shared his cancer journey with us, both in person and through his frequent social media updates.

Since 2011 Jon amused us all with his eclectic range of Movember poses amassing an amazing charity fundraising total of £22,711.

We would like to continue that tradition and this page is set up for family and friends who wish to contribute to Jon's final fundraiser for Movember, the men's cancer charity.
