Story
I’m taking on the Big Half Marathon as part of Let’s Talk About Loss’s #25in2025 campaign, and I’d love your support!
This run means a lot to me. It’s the longest distance I’ve tackled in over three years, following a meniscus tear, keyhole surgery, and a tough recovery. Crossing that finish line will be a huge personal milestone.
I’ll be running in memory of my Dad (Peter), my friend Michelle, and all those we’ve lost to suicide.
Let’s Talk About Loss is a charity close to my heart and a very trustee. Their mission is simple but powerful: no young griever should grieve alone. 77% of 18–35-year-olds have experienced grief, yet 39% feel “uncomfortable” talking about it.
The charity runs meet-ups across the UK and employs two part-time staff to make sure young people get the support they need.
This year, they’ve launched #25in2025, aiming to raise £25,000 to reach more grieving young people. My target is just £500, which is 2% of the total goal and I hope you can spare a few pounds to hit my target.
Please donate whatever you can. Your support will help provide safe spaces, break down stigma, and make sure no one feels alone in their grief.
Thank you for helping me honour the memory of my loved ones and supporting such an important cause. 💙
Please donate now and help me hit my £500 goal!
