Last year my wonderful friend Julia died from a brain tumour leaving a hole in the life of all of us but most of all her husband, two children and a beautiful dog. It wasn’t fair and it was far, far too soon.

I am good at very few things but I’m not bad at running. Usually this is selfishly just for me but for once I’d love to make a bigger impact and help in a small way to beat this cruel disease.
