Our son Archie was born on 01-12-23 with an extremely rare metabolic condition which ultimately led to his need for a liver transplant. On 17-09-2025 Archie recieved a portion of my liver in a Paediatric Living Liver Donor Auxillary transplant at King's College Hospital which has saved his life - the only one of these operations carried out at King's last year! To say a small thank you I am competing at the British transplant games this year to raise awareness and support other famillies who may be facing (or face in the future) the same issues.
