A couple of friends work for Shelter and tell stories of how difficult it is to find housing for good people who are homeless for all sorts of reasons. Shelter are often the front line of help and support, and as homeless continues to rise in the UK, their work is as vital as ever.

For the challenge I'll be joining as small group doing an 18 mile section of Hadrian's Wall from Walltown (nr Greenhead) to Chollerford. It's a tough section with lots of ups and downs, and nowhere to stop on the route for supplies.

I know many of my friends give generously to many charities, but if you can spare a few pounds to support Shelter, then that would be greatly appreciated.
