Story
When I was 18, I met my cousin for the first time in Miami.
He had this relaxed, calm, chill vibe that you just couldn’t forget.
You know how most people you meet once or twice just fade into memory?
This wasn’t that.
He was different.
We stayed in touch over the years — sending each other messages on Instagram, checking in, making plans to meet again someday.
But life — and in his case, a long battle with cancer — kept getting in the way.
We never got that chance.
This April 2026, I’m running a half marathon in his memory.
It’s my way of honoring his strength, his calm spirit, and his ability to make everyone around him feel at ease — even while he was fighting something so heavy.
I’ve decided to use this run to do something bigger — to turn personal pain into collective purpose.
Every step I take will be for him, and for every family who’s lost someone too soon.
I’m asking for your support — not just for me, but for what this run represents:
resilience, remembrance, and unity.
Every donation, whether it’s $1 or $1,000, is an act of generosity.
It’s a moment of stepping outside of ourselves and giving to something greater than ourselves.
Because when we come together — when we operate in a united way — we create something rare and powerful in today’s world:
real human connection.
If you’ve ever lost someone you cared about…
If you’ve ever wanted to give meaning to your movement…
If you’ve ever believed that one person’s action can inspire many —
Then I invite you to sponsor this run.
No amount is too small.
Every step matters.
Every dollar matters.
Every life matters.
Let’s run together — in spirit, in strength, and in memory.
