Story
I've held back posting about this until I've got way deep into training as it's quite a challenge and I wondered if the training would be too much! On the 30th September I will be attempting to run 55km (34 miles) across the Lake District from Ambleside to Keswick with a total ascent of over 2200m. Ouch!
It's quite the challenge and one I'm both excited and a bit apprehensive about. I do recognise though that I'm very privileged to be in a position to prepare for and attempt this kind of mad stuff!! I'm going to do my best, but I would really appreciate support for the work that Grow is doing in Sheffield. They're supporting young people all the way from their door on a Walk & Talk mentoring programme all the way to providing paid work experience through the Grow Gardeners programme.
To find out more about the great work that Grow does take a look at this video - https://youtu.be/NfPPG5F-kuM
Your support would be really appreciated, and any donation big or small will be a huge help for this amazing charity!!
