Story
In April 2026, I will be taking on the challenge of running the London Landmarks Half Marathon to raise funds for Vilomah Baby Loss Charity in memory of my daughter Rebecca and all of the children taken far too soon.
My daughter Rebecca was stillborn in March 2017 and Vilomah have been a huge part of helping me coming to terms with the loss and helping me to carry on and keep going.
After starting life as FC Vilomah (a football team for bereaved dads - which is still going strong!), we have evolved into a fully registered charity and as a proud Trustee, we strive to help and support more families as they come to terms with their loss.
We so far have donated cold cots and cuddle cots to various hospitals, funded memory boxes as well as other much needed support. There is plenty more to come in the coming months including the funding of specialised counselling sessions!
We however need to do more and that's where you come in!
If you know me, you will know that I am very much not an athlete and this is a massive challenge for me but one I am determined to complete and with Rebecca looking over me pushing me on, I know I'll do it.
Any small amount you can spare would be hugely appreciated!
Thanks
Jon
