On 31st December 2025 I was diagnosed with bowel cancer!

Luckily it was caught really early and after surgery to remove the tumour and rejoin my bowel back together I have just had the fantastic news that I don't need anymore treatment.

Every year for the past 20ish years I've run the Manchester 10k mostly for fun and occasionally to raise money for a charity.

This year I'm running for bowel cancer UK to raise money for research into early diagnosis and treatments for bowel cancer as I really want to give something back, as without research my outcome may have been much worse (as it is unfortunately for many people)
