Elliot is a happy two-year-old. He loves diggers and his sister, Callie. In July 2024, he was diagnosed with stage 4 high-risk neuroblastoma. By supporting his campaign, you’re giving hope to Elliot and his family.

Story

In 2024, my good friend and former colleague Emily‘s son Elliot, who is not much older than Rudi, was diagnosed with a rare form of childhood cancer.

Seeing what Emily, Adam, Callie and Elliot have gone through, and since having Rudi, I wanted to do something to help.

Therefore, I have challenged myself to do a number of bike rides, as follows

Étape Loch Ness: 105km

Tour de Manc: 165km

Manchester - Blackpool: 105km

I am also planning to do the 157km Dragon Ride in 2027 (I was meant to do it this year but had a diary clash).

Below is more information about Elliott‘s story. Emily and Adam have been raising money for any future treatment needed, and I’d love to help them raise more. Please donate if you can, you’ll really help a middle aged man get round the courses.

Elliot is a happy and caring two-year-old who loves diggers and playing with his big sister, Callie. In July 2024, at just 15 months old, he was diagnosed with stage 4 high-risk neuroblastoma after his parents found a lump in his leg. He completed 16 months of intensive treatment in November 2025 and is now taking DFMO to help prevent relapse. As Elliot remains at high risk of his cancer returning, his family is fundraising to ensure he can access further treatment options if needed.
