Land's End to John O'Groats · 12 May 2024

Motor Neurone Disease moves fast. It takes away time, it takes away independence and it has no cure. Every day we support people affected by MND. We fund ground-breaking research. We campaign for better care. We’re here for everyone who needs us. Because with MND, every day matters.

Story

From 12 to 25 May 2024, I will be cycling 1,000 miles from Land's End to John O'Groats. I am riding in aid of the Motor Neurone Disease Association (MNDA), to raise much-needed funds for front-line care of those with MND in Sussex* and the charity’s national research programme* to find a cure for MND. I have been inspired by the jaw-dropping MNDA fundraising achievements of former rugby league players Kevin Sinfield CBE and his friend Rob Burrow CBE, who has MND. I also hugely admired the late great Scottish rugby union star Doddie Weir OBE, who passed away after a long and dignified fight with MND. I would be hugely grateful for any contributions of any size to support this amazing cause.

Thank you. Jonathan.
