Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

Hi, my name's John, and I just wanted to share a few words about why we're doing this.

I've struggled with my mental health for a number of years. While I've reached a point where I can recognise it and talk about it openly, that doesn't mean it's always easy to cope with.

During a recent low period, I was walking around our sports ground when the idea for this challenge came to me. With so much cricket being played over the summer, I thought what better way to raise awareness than by taking on the challenge of walking 192 miles—while hopefully encouraging others to get involved along the way.

When I shared the idea, three great friends—Mike, Asa and Tim—immediately offered to join me on the journey, and together we'll be walking all 192 miles.

We're supporting ANDYSMANCLUB because they do incredible work helping men through difficult times and providing a safe place to talk. If you're able to, we'd be hugely grateful for any donation to help us raise funds for this fantastic charity.

Even better, if you'd like to support us in person, come along to Tarleton Cricket Club on the day and join us for a lap—or as many as you fancy. Every step, every conversation and every donation helps us raise awareness and remind people that they don't have to face their struggles alone.

Thank you for your support.
