So, another year and another injury (I know—I’ve gone on about it enough 🤣).

Having raised money for similar causes in the past, I felt Macmillan Cancer Support was the one that resonated most, especially after seeing first-hand how they’ve supported family and friends through some really challenging times.

While I’ve had to link this page to one event, I’m actually planning two. First up, this weekend I’ll be taking part in the London Marathon for the first time. It’s been an ambition of mine for years—so hopefully I’ll make it to the finish in one piece.

If I do, then it’s straight on to training for a 100-mile ultra in July. Yes, it’s probably a silly idea—but at least I should get my money’s worth at the aid stations, although there’s only so many sausage rolls and Haribo I should eat!

Either way, if I can raise a bit of money for a great cause, that would be fantastic.
