Chorley Golf Club fundraiser for Alzheimer's Society

Jonathan Pitt is raising money for Alzheimer's Society

60 Hole Golf Challenge · 13 June 2026

At Alzheimer’s Society we’re working towards a world where dementia no longer devastates lives. We do this by giving help to those living with dementia today, and providing hope for the future by campaigning to make dementia the priority it should be and funding groundbreaking research.

Story

Club Captain Jonathan Pitt supported by Vice Captain David Mansfield & Director of Chorley GC Peter Dodd, will all be taking on a 60 Hole Golf Challenge on Saturday 13th June 2026.

This event will run in conjunction with Centenary Celebrations at Chorley Golf on the same day.

The 60 Hole Challenge is to raise funds for one of the Captain's Charities (Alzheimer's Society) a cause very close to the hearts of both Jonathan and Peter, who have both lost parents to this disease.

They will commence the first 18 holes at 5am! and after walking circa 20 miles, aim to have finished the 60th hole for a well deserved pint around 7pm.

Any donations made will be gratefully received.
