Story

Thanks for visiting this page!

Badminton players from across Scotland are to attempt to break the Guinness World Record for the most amount of participants to take part in a single badminton rally.

The current record is 123, and we hope to beat that at the Emirates Arena in Glasgow from 1-3pm on Sunday August 24 to launch ticket sales for this year's Scottish Open Championships, taking place at the same venue in November.

Badminton Scotland is delighted to use this world record attempt to raise funds for Down's Syndrome Scotland, a remarkable charity which supports families the length and breadth of the country.

Please support the players taking in part in this challenge by donating whatever you can afford.

Thank you for every penny.
