Hello everyone!

As many of you already know, we sadly lost our dear friend Leanne last year to breast cancer. Leanne was 39 years old.

Leanne’s diagnosis came far too late. Losing her has been heartbreaking, and it’s shown us just how important early diagnosis, research and proper support really are.

So, we have decided to run the Great North Run together in Leanne’s honour. After running a full marathon and the Hackney Half, we told ourselves we would NEVER run again, but here we are…

We’re doing this for Leanne, for her strength, her spirit, and for putting up a real fight. Every mile will be for her, and for everyone currently tackling cancer.

We’re supporting Breast Cancer Now because they fund life-saving research, campaign for earlier diagnosis, and provide vital support for people and families affected by breast cancer. Every donation, big or small, really does make a difference.
