Grief changes everything.

Losing my dad at the age of 13 was one of the most defining moments of my life. Whilst at the time I could never have imagined I would gain anything positive from it, losing him and also the way my Mum supported us gave me the values that I try and live as a Dad, a Husband, a colleague and a politician.

Child Bereavement UK offer direct support to children who have been effected by grief, without waiting lists or referrals.

I am taking on two challenges as part of this fundraising, the Great Manchester Half Marathon at the end of May and the 4 day Tour of Tameside in June.
