PAPYRUS is the national charity for the prevention of young suicide. We run HOPELINE247 0800 068 4141 a freephone confidential helpline staffed by trained professionals who give advice, support & information to anyone who is feeling suicidal, or concerned that a young person they know may be at risk

Story

I've very, very reluctantly signed up to complete the Way of the Roses, a 270km cycling route from Morecambe to Bridlington with my colleagues at Answer Digital.

Given I've not cycled properly for at least 3 year (so much so the guy at Halford's found it hilarious that a bike so old, was in such good condition...), it's going to be a really big ask.

Rather than suffer for no reason... or "fun" as I'm lead to believe some people call it... I'm hoping I can raise some money for Papyrus, our charity Partner for the year at Answer Digital.

Any donations would be amazing and will really help keep me going when I've left my legs in Lancashire.

The whole team at Answer Digital are aiming to raise £15,000 for our 2025 charity partner - PAPYRUS UK.

Who is PAPYRUS UK?

PAPYRUS UK is the national charity for the Prevention of Young Suicide.

Suicide is the biggest killer of young people under the age of 35 in the UK, every year over 1800 young people take their own lives. PAPYRUS provides confidential support and advice to young people struggling with thoughts of suicide, and anyone worried about a young person through their helpline, HOPELINE247.

We will be holding fundraising events throughout the year to try and reach our target, as well as supporting individual team members to play their part!
