Story
At fifteen years old I was involved in a road traffic incident in which I sustained a spinal cord injury at the C6 level making me a quadriplegic & paralysed from the chest down. I personally know the effects having an SCI brings to your life and the difficulties it entails. A couple of years after my injury I became very depressed but through the stars aligning in some way I discovered meditation and began to see that I could still live a great life despite the complications of having an SCI. I think any advances in the medical world toward spinal research is going to be a very positive thing so please join me on Zoom for a virtual mind, body & soul night to raise money for a brilliant charity.
Please donate £10 to join the virtual event but if you would like to donate to support Spinal Research in general and cannot make the event that would be much appreciated too.
To join the event simply donate and use this link to attend on Sunday December 1st 2024 at 6pm (GMT) https://us02web.zoom.us/j/85267930861?pwd=d16wQdaEgDS0NiBsNTVk3VpuT97qtk.1
Spinal Research is the UK’s leading charity funding medical research around the world to develop effective treatments for paralysis caused by spinal cord injury. Every year 4,400 people in the UK suffer a spinal cord injury.
We receive no government funding and rely entirely on the support of the public to raise funds for our research. Because of the efforts of our supporters, we have funded innovative medical research that has achieved a number of ground breaking changes in the field.
