Important Update 06.03.2026

Earlier this evening we were informed that, due to recent foreign affairs and tightened security measures, new restrictions have been put in place around the refugee camps. Foreigners are no longer permitted to enter these areas and checkpoints are now in place for anyone accessing the camps.

As a result, we will unfortunately no longer be able to personally distribute the aid within the refugee camps as we had originally intended.

However, we want to reassure everyone who has supported this effort that all funds will still be distributed exactly as planned through Aid for Ummah. The trusted charity teams on the ground will ensure that the aid reaches the families and vulnerable communities it was intended for.

While we are disappointed that we cannot deliver the aid personally, your donations and sincere intentions will still make a real difference to those in need.

We reached our first target of £25,000 within just one week. The goal was then increased to £35,000, and by the grace of the Almighty, we achieved that as well.

On the ground in Jordan for Syrian & Palestinian families

Alhamdulillah, this Ramadan my family, close friends, and I will be travelling to Jordan to personally deliver aid on the ground. Our mission includes distributing care packages, preparing and cooking meals, and serving families directly, so they can break their fast with dignity.

This appeal is focused on providing food for iftar and essential supplies to Syrian and Palestinian refugee families in Jordan who are facing severe hardship. With your support, we will be delivering aid directly, in shaa’ Allah, ensuring your donations reach those who need them most.

Alongside food distribution, we will also be spending time with children from local orphanages by hosting a large celebration with games, gifts, and activities to bring joy to their Ramadan, and visiting a special needs orphanage to provide tailored essential items for children with additional needs.

Zakat and sadaqah will go towards iftar food and essential supplies for vulnerable refugee families and children. Every contribution, no matter how small, can help put food on a family’s table this Ramadan.
