HE'S AT IT AGAIN— An unfit bloke who’s allergic to exercise setting another fitness challenge for 2025. 🙃

This year, I’ll be taking on the 2025 Amsterdam Half Marathon in aid of SANE—another charity supporting  a cause incredibly close to home and heart for more reasons than one. 🏃💨

SANE is a leading UK mental health charity dedicated to improving the quality of life for anyone affected by mental illness.

SANE’s Mission

The charity strives to:

✔️ Raise awareness and understanding of all mental health conditions.

✔️ Combat the stigma surrounding mental illness and advocate for better frontline services.

✔️ Provide direct support through its helpline SANEline, email and ongoing services like Textcare and the Online Forum.

✔️ Promote and fund research into the causes of mental illness and the effectiveness of treatments at the Prince of Wales International Centre for SANE Research in Oxford.

SANE envisions a world where mental illness is treated with the same urgency and seriousness as physical health conditions—without shame or blame.

Since SANE’s founding, mental health awareness has grown, and national initiatives have emerged. Yet, many still struggle to access the help they need. SANE continues to campaign for those left behind—people who feel they have nowhere to turn in crisis.

This is why I’m running for SANE—because mental health care should be accessible, effective, and treated with the urgency it deserves.
