Story
As a proud British Jamaican, I am deeply saddened to see the devastating impact that Hurricane Melissa has had on Jamaica. The hurricane — the strongest to ever strike the country — has ravaged communities, leaving families without homes, water, power, food and access to essential services.
On 7th December, I will be running the Tatton Yule Yomp Trail 10k to raise funds for React Disaster Response, an incredible emergency and crisis response charity working both in the UK and overseas.
React is currently on the ground in Jamaica, partnering with the World Food Programme to help restore logistics, supplies and electricity to affected communities.
Every donation no matter how big or small, will go directly towards helping those most in need, as Jamaica begins its long journey to rebuild and recover.
