Story
I am completing the national three peaks challenge on July 25th-26th this is to attempt to climb Ben Nevis, Scaffel pike and Snowdon within a 24 hour period (depending on the ability of the group and traffic it may take slightly longer but will be completed continuously) I am doing this to raise money for The Ambulance Staff Charity who have helped me with my mental health over the last 6 months. I contacted TASC in October who had me on counselling within ten days of first contact. They have provided me with numerous sessions and still going with them. I have decided that to hopefully mark the end of my mental health journey to finish it with an incredibly physical and mental challenge. This will be the toughest challenge I've ever completed and it would be amazing if you can donate as it will help more ambulance staff like myself to receive the counselling they need.
TASC, The Ambulance Staff charity is the leading UK charity supporting current and retired Ambulance Staff and their families, regardless of role, to enhance their mental and physical well-being during times of need. Ambulance Staff dedicate their lives to supporting and saving others. They see life at its most fragile, often dealing with tragedy on a daily basis. Sometimes they themselves are in need of care and support. Our support enhances their well-being during times of need by helping to alleviate pain, suffering and financial hardship.
