Story
We both are raising money for Sands in memory of Jacob, Jordan’s son and Niamh’s nephew, who was stillborn at 34 weeks in 2015.
After losing Jacob, Jordan experienced a deep sense of grief and isolation that he didn’t know how to process. Sands provided vital support during that time, helping him understand his emotions and connect with others who had been through similar loss. That support changed everything.
Now, as Jacob’s dad and auntie, we are running both the London Marathon and the Berlin Marathon to give back and help ensure other families don’t have to face baby loss alone.
This is about honouring Jacob, keeping his name alive, and raising awareness so that more people feel able to talk about baby loss and access the support they need.
