This year, I am taking on the challenge that mean a great deal to me - I am running in the Leeds Half Marathon to raise funds for a local charity called the Peter Pan Nursery situated in Sherburn in Elmet. This isn't just about crossing the finishing line, it is about making a real impact in the lives of children who deserve every opportunity to thrive.

Children with disabilities, illnesses and other difficulties, face many challenges, but with the right support they can overcome barriers and reach their full potential. That is why I am lacing up my running shoes and dedicating this race to them.
