Three years ago, I convinced my friends to spend one of the longest days of the year by walking throughout the night to watch the sunrise.

Each year I have been fascinated by the novelty of watching the sunset in the west and sunrise in the east, having traversed our beautiful North Coast.

This year I am extremely proud to announce that this is now officially the overnight challenge for Headway Jersey, a great charity that relies on our donations to support their members by providing free support, information and services to people with a brain injury, their families and carers.

This walk has been a reflective experience for me, and it makes me consider the fantastic capabilities of our bodies and minds.
