Jordan Thomason is raising money for Children with Cancer UK

London Marathon 2025 · 27 April 2025 ·

Our vision is a world where every child and young person survives cancer. For the last 35 years, we’ve been working tirelessly to fund much needed research into childhood cancer.

Story

Over the past 18 months , our fundraising has been driven by a very personal reason. Beautiful little Jackson Haining was diagnosed with high-risk neuroblastoma, and like so many families facing childhood cancer, his family were suddenly thrown into the most challenging period of their lives.

We are incredibly grateful to say that after an intense period of treatment, he has now completed that chapter and rung the bell — a moment that meant the world to everyone who knows and loves him.

As the Haining family begins to move forward, we feel it’s important that this page now gently shifts its focus.

While this journey began because of one very special little boy, the reality is that many families continue to face similar battles every single day. Children with Cancer UK exists to support those families, to fund vital research, and to improve treatment outcomes so that more children can have the same chance at recovery.

Our fundraising journey for Children With Cancer Uk will culminate with the 2026 London Marathon. What started as something deeply personal has grown into a wider commitment — to raise awareness, to fund research, and to stand behind every child and family who may need that support in the future.

Thank you for standing with us — not just for one family, but for all those who need it.
