Break Yorkshire 3 Peaks · 11 May 2024 ·

A team of five Burrowmoor staff and family are going to take on the Break Yorkshire 3 Peak Challenge in 2024! We want to raise money to give our young people a holiday this summer so we are going to step up and take on 24 miles in 12 hours!

Story

I am taking on the Break Yorkshire 3 Peaks on Saturday 11 May 2024 to raise money to help change the lives of the young people we support in our Children's homes.

This is a huge challenge for me, as I start my 8 weeks of training to be in 'peak' fitness to take on 24 miles in 12 hours across the highest three peaks of the Yorkshire Dales!

This demanding yet rewarding one-day trekking challenge takes us to the sum-mits of Pen-y-Ghent (694m/2,276 ft), Whernside (736m/2,415 ft) and Inglebor-ough (723m/2,372 ft), all in one circular route starting and ending in Horton-in-Ribblesdale.

Please follow me and help me as i train and sponsor me to get up those peaks and help make a difference to the lives of vulnerable children and young people.

Thank you!
