After a serious motorcycle accident, the incredible Yorkshire Air Ambulance (YAA) team got me to Leeds General Infirmary in record time. I was lucky—I walked out of hospital that night. Many don’t.

Like most people, I’d seen the YAA helicopters flying overhead and knowing they were out there doing vital work. But when you suddenly need them, their life-saving value hits hard.

Yorkshire Air Ambulance is an independent charity, relying solely on public donations. Each mission costs around £4,600. This is my way of giving back—to help cover the cost of my ride in the yellow helicopter and to support the next person who finds themselves needing it.
