Story
On April 26th, 2026, I’ll be running the London Marathon in memory of my big brother, Jordan Waugh, who we tragically lost in a skiing accident in February 2018 in Alpe d’Huez, when he was just 23 years old.
This year’s marathon falls on Jordan’s birthday, which makes this challenge even more special and emotional. I’m running to raise money for Child Bereavement UK, a charity that helps children, young people (up to age 25), parents, and families rebuild their lives after the heartbreak of losing someone they love. They also train professionals to give the best possible care to bereaved families — something I wish I’d known about when my world fell apart.
Grief is something we don’t talk about enough — and it’s incredibly hard. By running in Jordan’s memory, I hope to raise awareness, open up conversations about loss, and support others who are facing the unimaginable.
Every donation, no matter how small, truly means the world. I promise I’ll give this everything I’ve got ❤️
Thank you so much for your support,
Kennedy x
