Hi,

After running last Sunday’s half-marathon at the Great Scottish run in Glasgow, I have signed up to participate in the Barcelona marathon on 15 March, 2026. My training programme and the race itself is to raise funds in aid of Beatson Cancer Charity.

Earlier this year my mum was diagnosed with Non-Hodgkin Lymphoma, a type of blood cancer. My mum underwent radiotherapy at the Beatson and thankfully treatment has went positively. This fundraiser is to recognise and give something back for the treatment, care and support given by the amazing staff to my mum and other patients.

I am very grateful for your kind donations, it is more than appreciated.
