Story
In 2026, I’ll be running the London Marathon, my first ever marathon in support of the Sir Bobby Robson Foundation.
I work within the pharmacy clinical trials team at the Northern Centre for Cancer Care, with my main role overseeing the trials within the Sir Bobby Robson Unit. Every day I see how vital research is in improving cancer treatments and giving patients access to new therapies, hope, and better outcomes.
I’ve had previous experiences of cancer within my own family, and I know just how life‑changing a diagnosis can be. Those experiences, combined with the work I do, are what pushed me to take on this huge challenge.
I’m raising funds to support the building of the Sir Bobby Robson Institute, which will bring together cancer care, research, and clinical trials under one roof — helping to improve the lives of patients now and in the future.
26.2 miles will be tough, but knowing that every step helps support patients, families, and groundbreaking research will keep me going.
Any donation, big or small, would mean so much and will make a real difference.
Thank you for your support 💛
