Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.
I’ve decided to take part in this years Great North Run to raise money for a local MS charity ‘Middlesbrough MS Therapy Centre’. The centre offers physical & emotional support as well as advice to people and families of those who are living with MS.
Multiple Sclerosis (MS) is a chronic, progressive illness that affects the nerves in the brain, spinal cord and other parts of the central nervous system. MS is an autoimmune condition, which means the body’s immune system targets itself, attacking cells, tissues and organs. It is estimated over 100,000 people are living with MS in the UK.
For those that know me know my Mam suffers from MS, so when I signed up to do this I knew I had to raise money for a charity that’s close to home. So wether it’s a donation or a share of the page on social media, everything is greatly appreciated and doesn’t go a miss!
All preparation will be uploaded to my Strava page https://strava.app.link/flTt3rEFLLb so feel free to keep tabs and make sure I’m doing my runs 🤣
Thanks for taking the time to read, roll on race day 🤝🏼-Jord
