Hello

On 17th May 2025 I start my Cumbria Way solo adventure, walking 73 miles over 6 days, from Ulverston the route cuts through the Lake District (Coniston, Great Langdale, Borrowdale, Derwent Water, Skiddaw Forest, Caldbeck) to Carlisle.

Although I organised the walk last year, when I heard about Jerry Green Dog Rescue's fundraising event ‘60 miles in May’ I thought how wonderful it would be to combine my love for walking with my family’s love for dogs and raise money for this local dog rescue who have been transforming the lives of dogs in need for over 60 years.
