The Food Chain exists to ensure that poor nutrition does not compromise the health prospects of people living with HIV in London. We help people get well, stay well and lead independent lives through crisis grocery deliveries, cookery classes, communal lunches and specialist dietetic advice.

Story

I've signed up to run 10k in support of the Food Chain at the World AIDS Day RED RUN 2024 on November 23, 2024. This is an opportunity for me to work on my wellbeing, whilst supporting a cause close to my heart.

For over 35 years, The Food Chain has been dedicated to providing nutritious meals, groceries, cookery and nutrition classes, and communal eating opportunities to individuals living with HIV in London.

I've personally experienced the benefits of accessing good food and a supportive community, which The Food Chain offers to many. They nourish, support and empower those living with HIV who need it most.

Unfortunately, HIV funding continues to dwindle, leading to the closure of vital organizations in the sector. That's why I'm reaching out for your support in helping me reach my fundraising goal of £1,000 GBP.

Together, we can make a meaningful difference for those in need.
