Story
Hi, I’m Josef, and I’m proud to be running the Paris Marathon 2026 in support of the British Heart Foundation.
Running is a true passion of mine. Over the years, I’ve taken part in a number of events, including the Yorkshire Marathon and Tough Mudder, and each challenge has motivated me to go further, not just for personal achievement, but to make a difference.
This marathon is particularly special to me. I’m taking on this challenge as part of the team at Malvern Inns, the proud owners of The Square & Compass in North Rigton and The Castle Inn in Spofforth.
We have chosen to support the British Heart Foundation for many reasons, one of which is deeply personal to us. Georgia, our dedicated Events Manager who has been with Malvern Inns for several years, was born with an undiagnosed genetic heart condition. Her story is a powerful reminder of why the work of the British Heart Foundation is so important.
Our goal is to raise funds to support the foundation’s ongoing research and to help improve the lives of people affected by heart conditions across the country. Every donation will contribute to vital research, education, and support services that can save lives.
Thank you for taking the time to read my story and thank you for your support. It truly means a great deal to all of us.
