Founded in 1865 by William and Catherine Booth they now work in over 130 countries and do so much good! I love how keen the Salvation Army are to act on their beliefs that God is a God of love and justice and do so in so many ways ! Here in Nottingham with supporting the homeless , supporting families , supporting students and more !

Bethan my sister has such a heart for their work with the homeless and gives some of her money each Christmas to support their work and I have been so inspired by the love and care of our Salvation Army Chaplain here at the uni . He has a heart that beats for everyone and shows such a love in action that makes me tear up! He is a brilliant example of the amazing people who are a part of the Sally Army and this is why I am so keen for us together to support their cause !
