With the current administration gutting support for refugees and asylum seekers and the agencies that help them settle and integrate into their new communities in the U.S., I want to support the Episcopal Refugee Resettlement Program based in Seattle because I know how critical and life-saving their work is. It is really important to do the political work necessary to get this country back to being a compassionate and honest democracy but in the meantime refugees who are here now need support - medical care, warm clothes, help with rent until they find jobs.
