I am taking part in this trek to raise funds to help all those suffering from Alzheimer’s, but also to raise awareness of how this devastating disease affects our loved ones and those who care for them.

I am walking with some of my family, in memory of my dad Ron who lost his battle with Alzheimer’s back in 2008 at the age of 72.

In my early childhood, we lived in Penrith and Dad loved walking the fells so it seems fitting that we do this trek around Ullswater. We will never forget you Dad, love you forever xxx
